Collins COBUILD Concise Learner's Dictionary (hardback)

Most high schools and middle schools prefer this dictionary over the Collins COBUILD Advanced Learners Dictionary. It is a more extensive dictionary but it also defines some offensive words that some schools may wish to avoid.

For elementary schools we recommend the Collins COBUILD New Student Dictionary. Most of the definitions are the same but in some case they are simpler and the grammar categories are much simpler. We have sample pages of both dictionaries so you can compare them.
