There are several places you can contact about becoming a tutor.

The Hollywood Education and Literacy Project (H.E.L.P.) operates a tutoring center in Hollywood. They offer a Mentor/Tutor Training Program.

The World Literacy Crusade has an in-house tutor training program and they operate in numerous locations around the USA.

Applied Scholastics is a licensing and certification organization. They also offer tutor training courses at their Saint Louis, Missouri office (314 355 6355).

You are welcome to contact any of these organizations for more information about tutoring, licensing or training.
