Instead of having a a large superstructure with six pressure points these blades have a single piece of spring steel that creates more consistent pressure across the length of the wiper blade.

This results in:
  • Less streaks (The spring steel creates more consistent pressure across the blade!)
  • Less wind resistance
      Not only does the blade support structure have less surface area but the wipper arm is closer to the wind screen. On our 2001 prius the left wiper arm are was .25 inches closer and the right arm was .35 inches closer to the wind shield. This reduces the air resistance of the car and improves the coefficient of drag.
  • No wiper chatter at speeds up to at least 85 miles per hour!
      Most wiper blades start to charter around 50 miles per hour but we put a small piece of tape across the mounting bracket for these blades and we detected no chatter on the 2001 Prius we tested. They also still cleaned the window streak free at that speed!

For a 2004 to 2009 Prius you need a 26 & a 18 inch blade
