Spindle Oil - for lubricating O-rings in fuel injectors - 1 fluid ounce
Spindle Oil is recommended by Toyota, Ford and other manufactures to lubricate the top o-ring on fuel injectors. This is a very light oil that will lubricate the ring and prevent it from binding when inserted into the fuel rail socket. Since it is so light and with only one additive, a oxidation inhibitor, it will not gum up the fuel injector like Teflon oil will.
This spindle Oil are is high quality very light viscosity (ISO 2. It is made to lubricate for high speed machine tool spindles with zero tolerance and hydraulic applications. Because it is so light the heat of the fuel rail will cause it to evaporate but it does not evaporate as fast as gasoline so you have less chance of binding the ring and wasting time.
This spindle oil is made from a light petroleum solvent refined mineral oil and an oxidation inhibitor.
If you ever work on fuel injectors you should have a bottle. Since you only need a few drops for each O-Ring one fluid ounce (1.8047 cubic inches) is enough for several sets of injectors.
