The World Book Encyclopedia Dictionary (Hardcover, two volumes)Due to the difficulty of find these used book in good condtion we no longer carry this item. However, you may find it well worth the trouble of acquiring this wonderful dictionary yourself directly from used book stores. Two good sites that have listings from a large number of used book stores are: www.abebooks.com and www.alibris.com. The reliability and integrity of the dealers that advertise at these sites varies. This large two volume unabridged dictionary has relatively easy to understand definitions because it was written for children. We recommend used editions published before 1976 when it was extensively revised. This is the World Book Encyclopedia Dictionary by Thorndike Barnhart. It is a a two-volume set (A-K & L-Z). This is an excellent dictionary! The color and binding varies depending on the year and the condition of the binding and pages will vary because they are used. |
